Season 3 has been officially named Rampage. It seems that it will have a post-apocalyptic theme where vehicles will play a very relevant role.
Before the launch, Epic Games has shown a preview of the skins that we will see in this update. Because it has a post-apocalyptic theme, the skins will follow this line. The first is a collaboration with falloutfinding a skin of the T-60 Power Armor of the Brotherhood of Steel.
One of the images shows a female character skin with a steampunk-style hairstyle and spiked shoulder pads, very cool Mad Max. Another skin appears to be a leader of the new villains with a crest and tubes running through his body, which seems inspired by Immortan Joe from Mad Max: Fury Road.
The images also reveal the villains’ shark-shaped ship. It has also been seen “Nitro Dome” a kind of state with ‘monster trucks’ and a ruined factory. Additionally, the sandstorm in the game will not disappear completely, but some areas will be drastically modified.
As usual, new skins for weapons and items will arrive. The video published by Epic Games shows some of the new items inspired by Fallout. It seems that some classic weapons present in previous seasons also return.
These are the new confirmed items:
- Nuka-Cola from Fallout as a new item. It could have a similar effect to ‘High Juice’, allowing movement speed to be temporarily increased.
- New Fallout weapons such as the Laser Rifle, Harpoon Launcher and Flamethrower.
- The Raider Shotgun that was already present in Season 2 of Chapter 3 returns.
- The Minigun returns.
