One of the issues most common is the USB port, which can cause operating problems. If you computer crashes When connecting a peripheral or a USB memory, don’t worry, we are going to explain how to solve the error.
USB ports are usually the ones with the most “load”, so to speak. Due to their versatility, they tend to be the ones responsible for the greatest number of device connections and disconnections. So, for all practical purposes, they are the most prone to damage.
The first step whenever you connect something to the computer and detect a malfunction is to try it somewhere else. It is advisable to connect it to another device that apparently does not suffer from any problem. If we connect it and everything goes well, it means that something is happening in our system. Clean system boot
Believe it or not, it is possible that some background application or service may be causing the problem. We can verify it by doing a clean boot of the system, to do this, you must follow these steps:
- We write “msconfig” within the Windows search engine itself.
- We must click on “System Configuration” but as “Administrator”.
- Now, you must go to the “Services” tab.
- The next thing is “Hide all Microsoft services” and click on “Disable all”.
- For this to work, we must click on “Apply”.
- Next, we must go to the “Windows Start” tab.
- Once inside, we must click on “Open Task Manager”.
- Right-click on each and every application marked “Enabled” and then click “Disable.” You can also click on the “Disable” button that appears below in the lower right corner.
- Close the “Task Manager”.
