As has almost always happened throughout Microsoft’s history, when a version of Windows works very well, as was the case with Windows Xp and Windows 7users are very reluctant to update to new versions until they have no choice when official support from Microsoft ends.
It already happened with Windows Vista, successor to Windows XP, and it happened with Windows 8.x, successor to Windows 7. This is the same thing that has also happened to Windows 11. However, the problem here is not that Windows 11 is bad, nor much less, but users have encountered a design change that, 3 years after its implementation, is still a problem for many users.
To this we have to add the hardware requirements of Windows 11, requirements that have left millions of PCs that are currently managed by Windows 10 out of the market, but that is another topic that we are not going to talk about in this article. In addition to the changes in the start menu and the taskbar, we have to add the important design change that the File Browser.
Microsoft had the brilliant idea of reducing the number of options in the context menu to only show those that, in its opinion, are the most useful on a daily basis, prioritizing only the essential functions and grouping the rest in a submenu.
In this way, it is much easier for the user to interact with the browser. While it is true that, through third-party applications, we can recover the Windows 10 design, it is not really necessary since Windows includes an option that allows you to recover the old design of the Windows 10 file explorer.
