However, what is most difficult, which is also one of the main objectives of the format as such, is its editing. These types of files have been designed to maintain their original format as much as possible and greatly complicate their modification.

To do this we can use some software solutions, but it is a much more complicated task than what, for example, it implies. modify a word document. However, it seems that Microsoft is preparing a special feature to make these tasks much easier for us. In addition, it is important to keep in mind that this new function that the software giant is working on will use Artificial Intelligence for all of this.

It is very possible that on many occasions, when trying to modify a PDF file, we have seen first-hand that it is not an easy task. Perhaps adding new elements is becoming more accessible, but modifying existing ones is something else. Hence the new feature that the company is working on to include in Windows in future updates.

How AI will work to edit PDF on Windows

Through the new AI tool that will be integrated into Windows, the function will be able to identify the elements that are part of the PDF file that we are about to edit. All this so that the changes we make to its content do not alter the original layout of the document as such, once the pertinent editions are applied.

The integrated AI and technology used by this new feature will allow us the opportunity to modify and edit these files without spoiling their original layout. Damaging a PDF When trying to edit it, it is quite common at the moment, something that Microsoft wants to correct.

Of course, these types of movements go against one of the main objectives of the reason for being precisely these files. So perhaps Microsoft’s new function, once it reaches our hands, will generate some controversy among the original creators of this content.

Microsoft has been working for some time to improve work with this type of files in PDF format, for example from your Edge browser.
