This is something that can be extended to the vast majority of applications we install and we use it daily on the PC. And as long as they are compatible with our mother tongue, we try to configure those programs in it to be more productive. It must be taken into account that many users speak well in other languages such as English, but this is not common, at least in our country.

Hence, whenever we have the possibility, we configure both the system and the installed software in Spanish. Furthermore, this is something that becomes especially evident in the event that we are going to constantly use a certain software on the computer, as for example happens with the popular Adobe Photoshop.

Change the language in Photoshop

In these lines we are going to focus on one of the most popular and used applications in the world. We refer to the Photo editor that most of you know owned by Adobe, Photoshop. And sometimes it may happen that we install this powerful application on our computer and by default we see its interface in english.

Although some of you can defend yourself without problems in this language, for many others it can become a serious inconvenience. Hence, below we are going to show you how to configure the photo editing program in Spanish. To achieve what we are telling you, we go to the Edit / Preferences menu to access the software configuration window.

Photoshop interface option

In the left panel of this program configuration window, which is currently in English, we find several sections. All of them focused on the customization and configuration of the photo editor. The one that interests us in this specific case is the second one on the list, the one called Interface, where we click.

Now we take a look at the right panel that appears where we find an option that allows us configure the interface language of the program. From that moment on we will only have to choose the preferred language, in this case Spanish, from the drop-down list belonging to the section Interface language.

For the changes to take effect, all we have to do is restart the program. When it starts up again we will see that the entire interface has changed and we will now be able to use Photoshop in our native language, Spanish in this case.

Changes to the program interface

Mention that from this same window we will also have the possibility of customizing other sections that will make direct reference to the Photoshop interface. Once we have changed the language of the application as such, we can also configure the Font size of the options and menus that we will see from now on.

Spanish language Photoshop

We can also modify the scaling of these fonts or customize the theme that will be applied to the entire program. At this point we recommend, if you are first-time users of the photo editor, to take a look at all the customizable options that this window offers us in Photoshop. Once we have established the language that we really understand, this process will be much easier than before, when it was configured in English.

Other methods to change the language in programs

But in the software that we install on our computer, we can find other methods to carry out this customization. And in order to be able to work in our native language in the installed applications, programs usually use various methods. To say that in many cases the software that we install is automatically configured based on the language that we have established by default in the operating system. This means that we will not have to do anything for the application itself to be automatically configured in the Cervantes languageat least in our case.

This is something that on other occasions we have to configure by hand in the software installation process itself. Normally in the wizard that we find we have the possibility of configuring the language that we are going to use in the interface. Likewise, it may also happen that we have to carry out this configuration process manually later, as we have seen now in Photoshop.

This is an option that today is generally found on the configuration page of the application itself, as long as it is compatible with several languages.
